Dino Beganovic capitalised on his dominant pace, in comparison to the rest of the field, to take a second Sprint Race win in two seasons at the Baku City Circuit.
Beganovic started from third on the grid and made a great start to the race, overtaking both Laurens Van Hoepen and championship Nikola Tsolov in the opening six laps, either side of an opening lap Safety Car.
Tsolov’s pace was far from ideal with the Bulgarian dropping out of the podium places, due to a lack of pace in comparison to those around him.
Despite starting 10th, after topping Qualifying 1 on Thursday afternoon, Alpine junior Alex Dunne finished third in a great drive through the field.
